Daniel L. Mosley
Dan Mosley is currently a Partner at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. From 1981 until 1984, was associated with the New York City law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell. In 1984, he joined the New York City law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore as an associate. He became a Partner in Cravath, Swaine & Moore in 1987, and now heads the Trusts & Estates Department.
In his role as a Partner in the Trusts & Estates Group, Mr. Mosley serves as a trustee of numerous trusts and also advises individual and corporate trustees on their roles and responsibilities as a trustee. Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP is a leading New York City law firm with more than 500 attorneys in active practice. Cravath’s clients include a substantial number of the largest national and international corporations.
Mr. Mosley earned his BA from the University of Alabama and his JD from the University of Alabama School of Law. He also holds a Masters in Tax Law from New York University.
He serves on the Board of Directors at the William E. Simon Foundation. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Greenwich Hospital and is on the Board of Trustees of Deerfield Academy, Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, Inc., the William S. Paley Foundation, the Pinkerton Foundation, the Edward John Noble Foundation, the Thomas J. Watson Foundation, and the Paley Center for Media.
Mr. Mosley is married to Heather Stanton Mosley and they have three children.
