Leigh Simon Porges

Leigh Porges worked as a municipal bond trader for Glickenhaus & Company in New York City from 1980-1984.

She earned a BA in Education from Boston College.

Currently, Ms. Porges serves on the Board of Directors of the William E. Simon Foundation. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees and a facilitator the young adult group for Good Grief, a grief support group for children who have lost a sibling or parent. She is also actively involved with the Pingry School, where she has served on the Executive Board of the Parents Association and has been the chairperson for numerous fund raising activities. She is currently on the Parents Council at Vassar College.

Ms. Porges is a former member of The Junior League of Short Hills and the Oranges. She is also a former member of the Board of Trustees at the Union Hospital Foundation and Morristown Memorial Hospital. She has previously volunteered with the Achilles Track Club, which included accompanying disabled walkers in the New York City marathon. She has also chaired the Advanced Gifts Committee for the Wyoming Presbyterian Church building campaign, where she also served as an Elder and a Deacon.

Ms. Porges resides in Short Hills, New Jersey with her husband, Randy, and six children.
