Katie Simon was formerly a teacher at the Episcopal School in New York City and the Peck School in Morristown, New Jersey.

She earned a BA in Elementary Education from New England College.

Ms. Simon currently serves on the Board of Directors at the William E. Simon Foundation and is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Morristown-Beard School, where she sits on the Buildings and Grounds and Development Committees. She also is a Board of Trustee member of the Morristown Memorial Hospital, where she sits on the Women’s Health Philanthropy Council and is the Chairwoman of the capital campaign for the expansion of the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center.

Ms. Simon is active in a wide range of charitable and community organizations, including the Paige Whitney Babies Center, the Jersey Battered Women’s Shelter, and the Community Soup Kitchen of Morris County.

Ms. Simon resides in New Vernon, New Jersey and has three children.
